First and only edition. The eighth of the annual Swedish collection of fairy tales, titled ”Among Gnomes and Trolls” in English, and one of only 8 editions illustrated entirely by John Bauer before his untimely death in a shipwreck in 1918. Though eighth in the series, this is only the third issue to have Bauer’s incredible artwork reproduced in full color.
